OBDII Scanner with USB cable suitable for Subaru Legacy Models from 1996 and later

I am own a Subaru Legacy 1999 model, 2000cc engine type EJ20 and Model BH5. I am interested in a OBDII scanner with USB cable able to connect a laptop. Because I am an enthusiast, I want to be able to diagnose and trouble shoot and clear problem codes etc. The info obtained to use to understand my car more and when I take for specialized repairs I know what problem therein.

I have search the Internet and I am not able to access information on a source of a OBDII suitable for my car

If your car does support OBD2, then I highly recommend the OBDLink scantool from scantool.net (http://www.scantool.net/scan-tools/p...d/obdlink.html) If that is a bit out of your price range, then the OBDLink S is still a pretty good tool (http://www.scantool.net/scan-tools/p...bdlink-sx.html)

Thank you very much I guess the OBDLink SX Scan Tool as a biginner and gradually upgrade as I get to learn the ropes. I will appreciate more relevant information send whenever it's available.
