you'll need a properly installed graphic driver before you can enable hybrid sleep.
Also you should enable S3 sleep in your bios setting as well.
Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings\Change advance power system\Sleep\Enable Hybrid Sleep

Ah that was it! I had to enable S3 in the bios. I was just looking at those settings earlier today wondering what they were too. Thanks. Now how do I know when it goes into hibernation?
Before in sleep mode it would keep the cpu fan running so i figured i could tell when it went to hibernate because the cpu fan would stop, but now the cpu fan stops for both.

in s3 almost everything stops except for ram voltage, which u can't tell.
to test, you wake the computer up with power normally, and it should wake up instantly, thats s3 wake up.
To test hibernation, put the computer back to sleep, pull out the AC power, and plug it back in after. Now turn on your computer, it should have the usual hibernation startup, if everything is setup correctly.
enjoy the greatest thing that happen to carpc!

Np, don't forget to get a psu that has sleep flexibility when you put it in the car.

yeah the m2 has selectable jumpers to select how long before hard shutdown (5V shutdown). However it has a max limit of a few hours, which seems like what you want, some people like myself who wants more than a few hours would not want this psu.

I think that's the same as the DSATX, only there is no way to force it to shutdown longer than 9999 seconds (or 2.75h). I would like it to be on for at least 10h in S3, but that's not possible, AFAIK.
