Cool ... can post your nLite config when you're done?
well, spend quite a while last night getting a functional nLited windows to work. I still have yet to try the latest build but here is what I was having trouble with (you might benefit from this)
on build 7 of my nlite it seemed like everything was going to work... My OEM GPS which is attached to an internal, com2 of my via MII10000 board was having an IRQ conflict after a fresh install. This was because I hadn't yet installed the via (4 in 1 drivers) which includes a set of instructions of IRQ's for the com ports among other important PCI data to the OS.
Upon running the 4 in 1 setup, it was crashing.... Why was it crashing ?? because aparently the extractor utility is a 16 bit application !!!! WHAT THE CRAP !!!! who uses 16 bit aps nowa days ???
On to build 8, setup utility doesnt crash, extracts the data but doesn't run... WHY ?? because with nLite 1.9.77 you also need to apply the 16 bit "patch just undernieth 16 bit aps"
On to Build 9... I'll update you all to let you know if I've succedded.
Progress [I will seriously never be done!]

BTW I believe 4in1 Setup.exe is just selfextracting archive which can be unpacked using Winzip on your desktop machine. Then you could possibly install unpacked drivers via their INF files rather then via setup engine. No need for 16 bit support then.
I think that there are ways to extract the .exe. When you do that, you should be able to load up the drivers from device manager. That's what people were froced to do when VIA introduced a bug into their exe file![]()
once you unpack the files the setup is still 16 bit, i tried that in hopes it would work with my laptop and burned the extracted files to a cd.. still no luck..

with page file disabled on a completely fresh install I'm getting about 360MB (this is without moving ANYTHING, so you can definatly get this down to 250 with a little effort)
