Can anyone tell me how or give me useful links on upgrading my bios? im not even sure where to start, i will be searching also, but if anyone has experience and is willing to help please do

obviously we need to know what your bios manufacturer is. secondly you need to find out your motherboard model/version. Then goto the manufacturer website, or search google to see if your boarded has any rebranded clones with bios update. Download the motherboard manufacturer bios flashing ap and usually you have to save it to a dos bootable disk, then backup your bios and flash the new one.

Makes me laugh how people dare do BIOS updates when they don't know what they are doing, I've been doing them for years and still sit touching cloth just in case it goes wrong!

screw it ill just leave it then, i was skeptical thats why i didnt just do it. this machine is just a starterputer. so maybe i will just leave the bios stuff for the birds.
