    EWF disk mode

    I just got the Hitachi Endurastar drive. I want to try EWF disk mode. Have you tried this out SFiorito?
    I'm trying to figure out what the registry settings for it are, and if there's a point to trying it out in the 1st place.

    I mainly want EWF now, to protect from any data corruption from unexpected power loss. I have all the room in world for it on this 30gig drive.

    yeah, it can be done by using the ewfdll.dll function ConfigureEwf() and it'll read the FBA registry entries to create the EWF hidden partition. The registry entries are under the FBA key (I think it's HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\FBA). I could be wrong though, haven't done much with that in a while....

    you can run the function with "rundll32 ewfdll.dll ConfigureEwf"
