ANyone have a clue
If anyone has any ideas on how to get sapi to work with tinyxp, I would greatly appreciate it.
Is there no way, to install SAPI on TinyXP?
Some try an error and now... it works
I have installed the German TTS Voice from Autoroute.
Then I have copy the folder Speech from a PC with installed SAPI, found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\, to the PC with TinyXP. Register the dll with:
run -->> cmd
cd C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Speech
regsvr32 sapi.dll
and add to the registry via:
run -->> regedit
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Control Panel\Cpls]
new -> String Value
Value name: SapiCpl
Value data: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Speech\sapi.cpl
Wot about downloading the SpeechSDK from microsofts website?, its free, and has the engine as part of the install i think.

Jagputer, tinyXP was built by eXPerience in such a way that you can not add anything back into it because pieces of windows were totally and utterly pulled out of the install image. About the only way you can add windows components or files back in is by using another version of windows. I'm a mod for the site that eXPerience runs with, and I've seen this question a million times. Sorry...
