ya you can remove the buttons if you edit the Skins ini file. Rename them or remove them

Yes, could you explain a bit more please? I tried removing buttons from the .ini file but I end up with a FE that doesnt load anymore.

Firstly let me say "Wonderful piece of software"...I just wish i could read German, i am sure there is alot of great info on the forum

i have tried to read the whole thread and found out a few things

I installed CaveLive2Alpha and a few odd things:

With a MP3 playing and i go back to menu (all 3 menus) the different set of home icons have a different visulization. 2 things i seek, Either have all three the same or at least change the main menu -- all the OOO

Also is there a way to open one whole album from one click

--Artist
-----Album
--------MP3s
--Artist
etc...

What a great front end.

Just wondering if tere is a way or if tere are any plans to make any specific gps embed into the skin itself....like the winamp visualisation does.....i think that would make it spot on!!!

Also, has anyone got it to start up and not mute the sound...as I cant understand how this can be changed! other than that...cracking front end!

You MUST setup the mixer for the volume NOT to mute on start-up. There's a english portion on the German forum with intructions on how to do it (it's in the FAQ i believe).

That's the only way to stop it from muting.

Hi, i recently tried this front end in my car and it is great. Good Work
However i think it would be better if when you play a video clip and then decide you have finished with the video and want to go back to music, it would "unload" the video rather than just keep it paused.
Maybe a stop button could be implented aswell as pause because i find my cave live takes longer to load up now that i have run a video in it and i get this video box appear while it is loading and sometimes it crashes at this stage.
Also how can i access the internet or internet explorer in cave live?
I had a good look around in it today and couldnt find anything?
Did i miss it?

One More thing, i use a powermate with cave live and even with my sensitivity set on full it still takes an age to increase the volume (or decrese) significantly.
Is it not possible for it to change on a 5% basis rather than 1%?
