I setup the mixer but it still mutes the song. everytime i change video it mutes. everytime the program start it mutes. i set up the mixer as you show in page 1 but it still does the same thing. as for the video part. sometimes it wont embedded. and error out. the video is still playing when you minimize the program but its not embedded into the program. Why dont you make the volume like RR. i believe no matter which sound card you use controlling the system volume is the best way. I like this software and sorry for removing cave live i was just testing it out on how it look without it, but the volume issue is not making me use Cave Live. It always mute even though i set it right. AS for Iguidance if its able to show full screen and have your program overlay on top of it instead of cutting it on top and showing a bit of the desktop it would be nice. My phone is set up using bluetooth but I have a WM5 device. it not picking up in the program. Everything i have work with RR. Bluetooth radio and everything. But with cave live bluetooth is not working. The device see it in setup when i setup the com port but it just not reading the phonebook when the program start.

If it help i am using a 1.5 ghz jetway motherboard.

So issue I have seen with my system.

-Eventhough i set my mixer to work with your mixer setting the volume still mutes.
-bluetooth is don't work right with WM5 device.
-When starting the video player, it mute the master and wave volume, I have to pull it back up for sound to be heard. Switching video using the next track does not mute the volume but pick it from the list will mute the volume.
-Can you add support for Silab radio?
-video sometimes wont embed right.
-minimize of program is weird.

With the Albums i must speak with friendly developer. It seams to be much work.
Your shuffle you can do, if you go one folder-Up and select these folder and press the search button for listing all mp3 out of folder within supbfolder.
And then you press shuffle for mix.

In later versions you have the possibility to play "folders" and you can select "folders" in Playlisteditor,too. So you can make playlist with some klicks on selecting folders and tracks. These functions in future i will explain another day. Today i can say, it will get you more easy possibilities in playing,playlist-editing and much more such a little Audio-Toolbox.Also the shuffle will be greater as "folders" can be selected,too.

I think tomorrow on sunday we have an update for download with fixes and some functions. So you can test . If cAVe is bugfree so we work on bigger functions.

The mixer : Is it really so, that if you open windows-mixer and also cAVe-mixer in cAVe-->audioplay--->EQ-button that when you pull slider in windows that the also labeled in cAVe works simultan ? An the other way also ? Test all channels fom cAVe to windows and from windows to cAVe. If there is one channel which does not function you should go to cAVe setup and test it over ID. The mute as an own ID ,you must pull slider for right ID.
Please show me a screenshot of your cAVe-setup-mixer-page.

We control the windows slider only because of the possible Input-devices such line-in for external radio.

The phone: Requirement is a functional phone with its bluetooth driver such like Bluesolail or Widcomm or other.
These Driver spent the system the ComPorts which can be setup in cAVe-Setup. You can select the right one and save. Close Setup and start once more. Then you touch button for reading phonebook. There you can set over Sim or phone hisself. Try both and read phonebook. If it doesnt work, its not the right COMPort you have setup. All bluetooth drivers spend up to over ten new ComPorts in system and its on you to have a look in driversoftware which is for connecting and which not. Each new ComPort has an own function such headphone support of phone and so on.
We have no bluetooth driver written, you driver must be startet while cAVe work. We only have the possibility to conect over the virtual ComPort to your driversoftware, which then will connect your phone. Not more ! The other way, also so that we can read over the Comport with AT-Commands your phone details and so on. It can only be that we must set more AT-Commands on newer phone, so its phone dependend what answers we become. The connection must function ! Could it be that the function to connect is not set in your driver-soft. There are two different ports. Can you connect by opening driver-soft and click connect ? Are the connection passwords set in phone and on function in driver-soft ?.

Salling Clicker: I must have more time to look how we can do with it.

Silab radio: it will come.

video: I have a look on it. Some user told me about much cpu-running,too. So after next update i will look for video-bugs.

minimize of program: Hmm why must you minimize in car ? We have a look in this. It goes not on taskbar, but the minimize-window you can get up by double-click.

As for the screenshot. I test this on my computer in my car. So its a bit of a hassle to try to get. I will do what i can and more testing.

It gotta be my system then. I tested this on my home computer and the volume does not mute. That some weird stuff. Video works right on my home computer too no muting or anything.

You must have "Navigon Mobile Navigator for Computer" but this is still old version. The newer Navigon versions called "NCK4" and "NCK5". All PDA or MDA versions dont work on computer. There is only the possibility to use some PDA/MDA-Maps for computer versions. "Destinator" is also good working on computer. I use NCK5 but have also a free Destinator. The Destinator i must test and can then take on server for you. Wait a little days.

Your video error i must test (which one you use? where the error come then on video?) .
I cannot read the error-message on screenshot its too small.

With playing video outside visual-menu you can set it in cAVe-setup on second tab , there where the skin and video settings. Take away the "pause at menuchange" so if you will stop video you must do it manual in pause.
This option is for "musicvideos" where you can hear videosound and also can use navi for example.

Thanks for the explanation bluescreen, I have tested the shuffle and it works great!
Is it possible to combine more than one function in one button so i can make a single click folder shuffle button? ie. Buttonpress = Go to music root;shuffle;play
I have tested the mixer setup today and now the sound is not muting.. it works perfectly!

Also i have tested my phone today, its working great apart from I get error messages in cave setup when loading the phonebook. I can see the names and numbers loading but then i get an error "listenindex uberschreitet das maximum (0)" this error repeats until setup eventually crashes.
The actual phone,signal & battery functions are working fine inside cave though.
Is there any way to turn on logging or debug mode to help you solve this phonebook problem?

I am definatley going to use this frontend, it rocks!

- for audio-root such for mp3 is made a new button also the listicons
- language file will create as you leave firstone the cAVeSetup. So you can translate/edit text in "default.lng" . Only after the '=' please. For you i have made an english default.lng in folder language. So copy this to cAVe-Root , overwrite the existing and then you can open and translate in.
- gamma is fixed
- Touchfix in setup made. So if you have with this package (try first out) the "red-buttons" so you can set the option in cAVeSetup.
- Srolllabel are made to endless-Scrolllabel and its now flickerfree.
- Shutdown fixed

Bluescreen, the new version is working well.
I have tested on a mid spec laptop and only register 1-2% cpu time!
I do get the same error message when loading the phonebook from my mobile as I got with the previous version, can I make Cave save a log file to troubleshoot ?
Also in the audio screen the 'folder select' and 'folder back' seem to be the wrong way round to me.. the button with an arrow pointing backwards makes a select, and the arrow pointing forwards goes back :S

Very interested to hear what your doing with Destinator.. are you making a whole new frontend for it ? That would be awesome if its Destinator6!
