how do you have time to do all this good stuff is beyond me![]()
Hahaha don't worry, work is falling behind! I should get a package for a project that I'm doing for a client, so once I receive it, I won't be working on this much. Then after I do the project, I have to continue working on my actual product a bit (software). This won't get done for ages![]()

Here's an update early on in the morning. I got home at about 3:00 last night and for some reason I actually got most of the selection code done.
Then this morning I realized the reason it wouldn't compile properly (I accidentally had text on the background layer which was drawn over by the background itself)

colin, would you mind sending me the link as well.
Never let the truth get in the way of a good story
The download link is dead !
Haha yeah yeah, funny guys! I was bored today and VLC just released version 1.1.0 so I decided to screw around and try to get it implemented. Pictures first, rant after.
Eurotrip... not some crazy anime porn
Anyway, if anyone has ever tried to use VLC, its impossible. The ActiveX controls that they supply are absolutely crap and unusable by any means. Finding a wrapper for the new version 1.1.0 (or any version beyond 0.8.6i as a matter of fact) is impossible. So luckily, I decided to say "screw google" and go search on sourceForge instead. The first result was exactly what I needed, a new wrapper for Delphi for libVLC 1.1.0! Imagine! The demo program didn't work, and using the code provided gives me access violation errors (which don't affect operation and are coded into VLC so not avoidable).
Long story short, hid the access violations, changed some silly coding, and BAM! Video playback!
