SOLUTION:
I had this same problem - then I installed ol33l's Skinbedder to try that out. Ol33l's Skinbedder users the AutoITX software and the install in his Skinbedder thread for AutoITX fixed the problem I was having with Access Control.

So in a nutshell, check out Ol33l's skinbedder thread for more info on AutoITX. I'm not even sure exactly what it is, but Access Control won't work with it.

Now if we could get a new release of Access Control and/or the source, we could get some more features on this sweet peice of software

Well, pretty much everything outlined in this thread.

Ability to disable audio recording. I don't have a mic in my car, and it creates all those darn files on my harddrive.

Perhaps the ability to capture video from a webcam. Ability to capture just screenshots from a camera.

Send an SMS/email/etc.. message possibly with GPS coordinates (useful if car is stolen). Send screenshot if Inet is preset to server.

Use dialup connection to "call home".

Support flash or animations in the skins

Just things like that, that will really make this stand out.

for those with autoit problems, did you actually run the register.bat that registers the autoit dll?
