ehm.. Bob, wouldn't locking your car provide security w/o audio recording?
...or locking the PC?

Um, yes of course. But wasn't the whole purpose of this software to keep people other than you that may drive your car out of your carputer?

Kinda like friends, family, valet, mechanics, etc....

LoL, were you thinking that I was going to use this software as a theft deterant? rofl.....

This little app is very cool is it possible to play a custimizable wav/mp3 file when it lauches eg. Please Enter Code

Also it could Beep when you press each key.

Features I am putting in next release:

* Option for Record Nothing, Record Audio, Or Capture Video
* Extra Skin options:
- Transparency for code entry label
- Keppress sound
- Launch sound
* Optional Time-out to turn screen off (using power management). On tap of the screen, will come back on and play launch sound if specified.

I've almost finished the capture code and disable recording code, If I have a chance this afternoon I'll do some more on it.

How will this work when using hibernate mode?

My computer goes into Hib everytime i turn my key off. Would this app control access to cf then?

No, the idea is that you would laun ch this when you want it secure.

You could use it with this and a little scripting to do what you suggest:

sweet app stevieg! The voice recording is excellent, the addition of video will make it even better. =)

Just a suggestion: If the correct code is entered, say within ~30 seconds (or other/user-defined time) it doesn't log the audio/video surveillance to disk..

Wow, this is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for this proffesional piece of software!

On my wishlist:
1) Ability to disable voice recording in the ini file
2) ability to set a delay before start recording (e.g.: 20 seconds). No point recording during the first few seconds while I am most likely to be punching in my password.
