no it wasnt a problem on your programs end. I could press F12 and it would work as it should. I dunno maybe it was the code i used in RR. But if anyone wants my script just lemme know

I'm not certain I understand what you are asking or what you are trying to achieve because in my setup your iGZoom works just fine. It is always on top of iGuidance, even when I click on iGuidance. When I click on iGuidance the focus goes from iGZoom to iGuidance, but your iGZoom is still visible on top of iGuidance. (But you are likely asking something else and I'm just suffering from sleep deprivation now ;-)

(If I don't want to see iGZoom I just exit iGZoom. When I do want to see it again I open it.)
I guess both of us were suffering from sleep deprivation
I thought that that was a feature request

I suspected I confused you there LOL ;-)

No, not at all. What I was just saying was that the new feature of your iGZoom (which now doesn't magnify itself) is something a lot of users will love, but despite that I will still keep it in the top left (as opposed to on top of the small ETA box).

On a small screen I would place it where most of you will, too (bottom right). But space is not an issue on my 15" LCD, and when I place your iGZoom closer to top-left corner it is closer to my line of sight ;-)

That's all ;-) No more feature requests, only a bit of feedback on how I use it ;-)

    Ok... understood now

I'm going to make a component based on iGZoom for Sb, and it will have proportional click. So if you click on one part of the recent, then it will click were that part of recent belongs, not just in the center

While I know the reason you are saying it is that you see humour in this, but there also is a very good point here. The point is that indeed these kinds of software utilities are developed for and used by visually impaired people. However vast majority of people with valid drivers’ licenses are drivers with good eye sight. If people with normal vision require tools for visually impaired to see pertinent information on a GPS navigation product, it clearly proves some changes to the product may be due.

I use a large 15” screen, and it is not easy for me to read the small text in the ETA box. The too small size of the text in the ETA box has been discussed many times. I believe everyone (PDA and laptop version users alike) would welcome size increase.

I’m not sure if it is going to make any difference, but I will ask iNav to look into this.

Im not sure where I heard this, but it seems the logic behind these moves by iNav is iguidance is primarly designed for embedded systems and PDAs. The PC market for iGuidance is very small. For that reason they dont wish to put extra effort into the PC version.

But on the other hand an just an hour or 2 of work with the iGuidance source code would make the PC version 100% more PC friendly.

Well, I made the original app because I was bored.
Now I'm making a component version of this, which should bring more features to Sb

iNav Corp. just requested that Netropa Corp. (the iGuidance developer) increases the size of the trip status box in iGuidance in the next “map upgrade” (which I believe means version 3).

This doesn’t mean it will happen. It only means that iNav asked for it. Netropa is currently extremely short of engineering/programming resources (too many projects going on for them right now and they are pulled in all direction).

Let us keep our fingers crossed.

I'm having a bit of a problem getting igZoom to work properly. I'm using 2.1.1na and after opening igZoom, then iguidance, it seems to do nothing besides create a blank transparent window somewhere on the desktop but does not magnify. I have also tried this loading ig first then igzoom, no difference.

Clearly I'm missing something, perhaps is there any documentation on the ini file available?

edit: nevermind i figured it out. It was magnifing the background which is the same color as everything else. doh
