I have my iGuidance registry key set to read-only because I want to be able to run the GPS on COM16 and need the key to be read-only so that iGuidance doesn't reset it back to COM1:

When iGMod attempts to start, it displays an error that it couldn't modify something in the iGuidance Options key.. what is it trying to enable/change, and can the registry modification be disabled?

you can undo the read only on ur registry and setup igmod so that it automatically sets your com port to 16 on load.... that's what i did (as per pur doom's suggestion) when I had that problem. That was iwth igmod 2.... I dunno how igmod reloaded works tho..

I think you can just remove (or comment) the line on the ini that ways OPTIONS 123456 (or ssomething like that)

thanks, but it appears to need to be able to write those setting every time it starts.

also i noticed a hollow red circle that appears in the vicinity of where iGuidance says I am.. looks like it might displaying the location where the GPS is really tracking..
