It should work equally well for both programs. The only noticiable difference I can think of is it will support the iguidance buttons like zoom in and zoom out shown on some RR skins.

Oh, and it doesn't look right on the Centrafuse 1.5 skin right now because vettid changed the window size. I have an app to fix that.

I noticed an issue with routing to a city center. it kept requireing a house number .. and street.

PurDoom, I have a small request...

Its for routing to an address. Could you put the 'change state' button back? I live in the NE and I'm always traveling back and forth between 3 or 4 states a week. On iGmod beta 2 there was a change state option in the upper right of the of window, and I could change it to 'CT' or whatever state I wanted and when I entered in the street or city, it would list the streets and cities in just CT for example. Made life much easier.

One thing I found is working a little flaky is the 'aviod roads', seems to hang the system for a while, I've never got it to work either. I don't know if its my system or not, but everything else in iGmod seems to work fine.

- Focus is not stolen from children windows any longer (save recording as for example)

Will this stop the 'flicker' problems when this app is in RR? I'm using the CFX skin, and when I change the volume iGmod will flicker. Kinda hard to explain I guess.

But the program is working great! Keep it up!

iGmod Beta 2 release

It lets you change cities when searching by address. Just click "click here to change city" before executing the search.

Edit: Ups, I mean state. It changes states the same way.

PURDooM, I have it working that way.. it was just a heck of alot easier the other way. And yes I'm using the newest version, I got it from your link in your profile for "latest release"

I understand the logic behind the new setup, but to get where I'm going, I have to put the full names of the streets, cities, and state in, or else it won't search correctly.

Usually what I do is start off by house number, since that the first window you have to use, then I put in the street, then I click on cities (then I fully type the cities name), after that I have to put in the state (and I have to fully type the states name as well), and the I 'search'.

The old setup (beta2 atleast) was much easier, because to switch a state, it was a button in the upper right of the osk dialog box durring 'street' selection. After you seleceted the state, you could put in the city, and, just for example, say I'm navigating to someplace in Norwich CT, all I would have had to type was just "n - o - r" and I would have seen Norwich come up in the city window (since now IG knows I'm trying to get somplace in CT), I could click it, and Norwich would be selected (mind you, I'm doing this while I'm still in MA, or whatever state i'm in at the time). Same thing for street names, but they would all be streets in Norwich. The way its done now makes navigating between states much more a PITA. If you mostly do your navi in your state, the new setup is great.

Basically what I have to do now is enter the City, street names, state and house number in full form in the 'search window', and accurately. If you mispell it, search doesnt work. I dont know the full name of every street in CT, or NY, or NH for example. I was trying to use IGmodpreview3 to get to my cousins house for xmas, I asked him what road he lived in, he told me, but I never had him spell it out to me, needless to say, durring the 'search' it never found it b/c I mispelled it. So I loaded up igmod beta 2, and it found his place no problem, because after I selected CT with the 'state' button in the upper right, it was searching CT streets, not MA where I was at the time.

Sorry, I feel like I'm hounding ya. Take your time on the prog, its coming along very nicely, Preview3 works much smoother than beta 2, excellent progress, and I cant wait wait for the newest release!

BTW, just one more question, do you have any plans to change the 'custom' button on the menu, to 'Favs' or 'Favoriotes'?

Hmm. I had a similar experience trying to find an address a little bit ago (on huron ave, but the huron ave in iguidance wasn't the right one i really wanted 'huron').

So what I need is an option under "more" to search by house number, which will let you enter addresses the old way. It can use the same code that generates windows based on what window is open under POI (meaning I still have to fix the POI code)

The word custom bothered me too, but I can't think of what else to put there to hold the same font. Is FAVS indeed ok?

*hands in air* Idk. I want to say soon, but ive said soon before and here I am 2 months later with no major release.

I work on the program when I don't make any other plans in the day, so its 3 hours here 5 hours there of coding.

Id say... 20 hours of coding time or so?

Hey so can someone point me in the direction on how to get igmod to look like this (the skin that says Action instead of Menu) I'm using the CFX skin for road runner but buttons go off the screen once custom is opened. Also I none of the gps buttons are working for me so if someone else has some experience with this problem it would be really appreciated (I've been searching for like an hour now). And PURDooM, I second whoever said that this is going to be a must have app. Great work
