working like a charm now. I dont know what the deal was with the font, but it fixed itself so it shouldn't be a problem. Something I did. I think its about time for that transplant

i've gone through and manually patched it, since i have 2.1.3, but when i open iGmod standalone or in RR it gets to the point where it says it's integrating iGuidance but i never get a map on the screen. the action button appears, but no map. any ideas? thanks.

What happens if you try and edit the CFX skin with your config tool?

I didnt read your bug list until now and guess what I did? Yeah, edited the CFX skin with the config tool. Lets say the results were interesting to say the least.

I guess I gotta resinstall CFX?

    This is whats happening...

igmod while standing still works fine, as soon as I start moving however, it flickers in and out alot, the map view ends up being the same size as 'turn' view (you know the view you get when it 'dings' at you when your getting directions). This is when I'm not navigating. It will still flicker in and out a little bit, and have a black white box up top where the 'directions' would go I guess, and that will flicker in and out. Preview3 did this though, but not nearly as much.

If I select, 'go home' in the menu, it will freak out, and send me to someplace halfway across the state. Not only does it do this, but if I try and close the program out, or cancel the route, it starts messing around with stuff in RR (puts my volume to zero, opens up 'TV' and 'XM' etc), I'm assuming thease are the macros you use to get the menus going.

It also told me my mother was fat? WTF? LOL

I also used the old config tool on Preview 3 to try that out too, and it messed preview 3 up too. DOH!

Other wise everything was working MUCH more smoothly, and much much cleaner. I really like the fading windows. The program seemd much more responsive. Its another leap in the right direction. Keep it up, I can't thank you enough on this hard work you do!

"Disable Fade transitions between menus and splash scren"
get this error when I start it in RR

    runtime error 53
file not found c:\IGmod preview 4\speedcutout.bmp

john: redownload http://igmod.iamjeremy.com/iGmod3/iG...review%204.zip - it has the files i forgot to distribute

NickFury: Glad you liked it. I should have probably mention you have to set home by adding a space before the name of something, so you save something as " HOME" to have it drive there. When the OSK's are complete, it will have a button on it that says "drive to home".

Using the config tool to edit your CFX skin should work. (you need to do this to use the CFX zoom and menu buttons) You just can't use the skin editor to edit the iGmod flavor of the CFX skin.

Is off screen icons enabled? If that is the case and you switch off from gps view, it should make a small white box in the upper right for a second while it determines you have no route set, then gets rid of it. Im working on a solution so you don't have to see that .

It never messes with my RR buttons...

check your runner.ini (which is generated by the config tool). Is it refering the path to iGuidance correctly? that is, when it says c:\program files\inav\iguidance\iguidance.exe, that program really exists and is at that location? Also, the window name has to be iGuidance when the program starts.

D'oh! I see that it installs and runs exactly like the earlier versions - but better.
I got confused when your instructions said to delete skins and runner.ini. I thought maybe those of us using RR were supposed to do something in the RR folder. Now I see that all the action is in the IGMod folder like before.

One question, though. I had run the patcher months ago. Will it hurt anything if I run it again?

Nope. The newer patch (in the config tool) looks better anyway.

I'm using RR with Proximo's skin and having some trouble with the new version of IGMod. I assume the buttons at the bottom of Proximo's screen are supposed to be usable. The zoom buttons seem to work, but the adjustments are very slow. In addition the program locks up everytime I hit the full screen button. Here are my config screens.
