iGmod Beta 2 release

PurDoom,

Thank you sir! I installed the font and things look much better. I did, however, run into another problem.

I click on "custom" and go to the saved favorites. If I select a favorite and click on "edit" the edit button doesn't do anything at all. Its like its non-functional. I also noticed that there is no "delete" button for getting rid of a favorite.

Here is a screen shot. Also, in the white area where the favorites are stored -- the screen flashes like its trying to display something in that area. Whatever is flashing, goes away too quickly for me to know what it was.

Another thing, if I click on ADDRESS it takes me to the screen for entering a house number. I never get the option to select State and City. This must be something to do with IG 2.1.3 since others aren't reporting these problems.

1. No edit because its not implemented yet

2. House number first is the way iGmod should be working...

ok, Purdoom, I've got iGmod p4 running in the car now and it is leaps and bounds ahead of beta2. I can now appreciate it having seen it running properly. The one thing holding it back for me is that when I click a button to display a menu, such as the MENU button, the menu fades kind of slow and almost choppy. Is there anything I can do to ease this transition and make it appear more smoothly?

1. faster computer
2. better video card
3. disable fade effect
4. I need to figure out a way to software blend faster :P

Well, I just tried it on the laptop and it seems fine. Laptop is 900Mhz and car is 1.3Ghz. Hmmmm...how can I disable the fade effect? Hate to do this b/c I really like the fade.

There is an option in the config tool. Specifically, it adds the line

nofade true

to the runner.ini

Hate to do this b/c I really like the fade.

Me too, makes everything look so much more smooth.

Just got the xirod font here. Thought it'd be helpful to post a link to this free font. iG looks much better with it!

Okay, so I added "nofade true" to my irunner.ini, and i still get the fade. See below for a copy of the whole thing:

Hmm... I know I did it to my car's version (300 mhz doesnt cut it for fades) but I don't know why your copy isn't working.

I hope I didn't code this in after the last release...
