Man, it would be great if that weren't hard-coded. Anyways, what is TABCTL32.OCX? When trying to run the config tool, I get an error about this file: "Component 'TABCTL32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

Is there any documentation that lists all options/switches for the irunner.ini?

tabctl32 is the activex control for tabs in visual basic projects. Check this page:
    http://www.ascentive.com/support/new...e=TABCTL32.OCX

Their ascentive library installer seems to fix all them problems I didn't forsee in program distribution. Its commercialware, so I think I have my own solution that will be spread around in the next release.

The runner.ini looks for toggle words (true/false):
    _____________________________
    donotkillnag [depreciated]
    useigmodnag [not recently tested]
frodo [legacy from beta 2, unimplemented]
standalone [either this one or the next one is ignored, don't remember which one off hand][
    nostandalone
    antialiasing
    nofade
semitransparent (not in current release... I think?)
    startmaxamized
    autorecord (not in current release)

The following keywords also take some kind of paramater:
    ___________________________
    screenwidth
    gpsoption
    screenheight
    skin
    skinpath
    modeoffscreensetting
    modeoffscreenratio
    modeoffscreenrnudge
    igoptions

And finally, 'APPLYDIFF (diff file)' applies a filter to a skin file (for example to remove all POI buttons or something)

OK, I can dig that. I found the option to disable it, but for some reason, the options I pick don't stick.

Shut down RR, igmod & IG, launch the config, make changes in the last tab, hit save, then exit. Fire up RR & igmod and it's like nothing happened. If I repeat, the optios I chose haven't been picked.

Any idea why config settings aren't sticking?

It should save... it saves to the runner.ini in the directory just prior to the config tool so if iGmod is at c:\igmod\ and the config is at c:\igmod\config tool\ then c:\igmod\config tool\config.exe saves to c:\igmod\runner.ini.

It doesn't load settings because I didn't feel like coding that in (lazy bum )

I encourage you to kjeep up work on the application. There are tons of people who use and it very useful.

It just needs to be a bit more stable. and the navigation screen needs a little bit of work.

Thanks again for all your work on this

I agree. The same menus with just bigger buttons and most importantly a big OSK.

    Great job thus far!

No sweat dude. I would call you anything but lazy!
So I understand the concept now. I verified that chosen options in the config stick in runner.ini.

But, now I have this line in the .ini which I wanted to be "don't show nav" and it says:
    modeoffscreensetting 0

I still get that nav window in all RR screens.

Any more ideas? Am I the only one with this?

And just in case you think I'm a nag, I do notice a great improvement from Preview 3 to 4...much more stable. That's what I was after!

I thought I tested this enough, but I guess it needs a 2nd look at. what you did should have worked

And I could use the nagging. However I expect huge strides the next week or so (spring break, and I only work 17 hours/3 days of the week so lots of free time)
