    Great. Thanks.

But in the mean time, could you add "offline" support to your app while we're waiting for the next release of RR?

b8bboi, can you share how you auto downloaded the weather info? I really would like to be able to do this.

Sure. The code is in my car pc. I'll attach it sometimes later.

It's pretty simple. It's just a VBScript that makes HTTP requests to weather.com and traffic.com. The weather one automatically uses the location setting inside your RR.ini. The traffic one, you just need to give it the correct URL.

Use UpdateWeather.vbs to update weather. If you don't have XMLHTTP installed on your PC, you can download it from microsoft.com.

User GetHTML.vbs to update any web site you want. I set it to grab content from a RSS feed from traffic.com. It takes two parameter. The first is the URL of the web site. The second is where you want to save your file locally.

See UpdateWebsites.bat for sample usage of those 2 scripts.

After you edit it to include the web sites you want to download automatically, just put a path to UpdateWebsites.bat in skippy's Net Detection.

There's some extra code in the script I posted above that you won't need. Download this one instead. Remember to edit the path in UpdateWebsites.bat so that it points to the correct locations for UpdateWeather.vbs and GetHTML.vbs.

    Well I did it .

After looking at b8bboi's script it did not match the integration into RoadRunner that I wanted. So I started looking at the xml feed that is used. I copied the same format and using an AutoIT script to save it as myweather.xml in the RoadRunner directory and compiled it into a .exe for net-detect to start it. Works perfect, updated weather in RoadRunner on the fly.

    Woot!
