I really really like this piece of software... even though i have been sick and thatswhy havent had change to take it out and give it real testing yet, i can say for sure its going to replace my earlier GPS software...
Only thing i will be missing from that is plugin capability... and i hope Garo, that it is going to be in ur priorities.
Also hopefully somebody comes up with bit more centrafuzzy looks soon. Graphics look really nice as it is... but i wish more integrated look with frontend.
Wow, this looks very promising garo!!!
I am a huge FreeDrive fan, but some features seem to be lacking in FD at some moments, and this looks very promising...
When you do get around to introducing Speedcams, you might want to check this post I made earlier today... http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...23&postcount=6
Also, I suggest you talk to guino and get stuff like direction indicators in RR supported if you havent already spoken to him about that...
I'm sure I will have more comments as I try this out...

Any ideas for putting a PC in this? :)
Next priority is speedcams and daily logs, so comments and suggestions are welcomeOriginally Posted by RoyN

Have you found any way around some of the D3 problems? Avoiding a road due to a traffic jam, for example? (I brought this up a while ago, on the Mercedes system, for example, you can hit a Traffic Jam button and it will detour you through another street), any way of increasing the map font? Any other cool goodies?
Just to get the speedcam suggestions all in this thread, I'm pasting the stuff I posted on the thread I linked earlier...
To me the main benefit of having [garonav] handle speedcams on its own would be the abiulity to have a speedcam independent of a map...
Things that come to mind:
- option of using xport/mappoint gps as well as FD sdk to send lat/lon to RR.
- indepent of maps (I guess this is automatic)
- skin to set speed, num OSK support for "custom speed"
- skin to manage/delete/rename skins
- option of adding speed+tag (speed=xxKMh tag=mobile/fixed)
- option for detecting direction (going/coming/bi-direction and editing it easily when warned for inputing changes) - with this we can tag if a camera is one way or 2-way, and change this if required.
- skin popping up to warn us in all screens, with camera speed and distance (autorefreshing) to the camera, as well as as maybe a small "edit" button (to change speed/direction/mobile/fixed, etc)
- popping up skin should also have a Mute/Hide button.

Hey, someone have notice about the new Destinator PN? (alias Destinator 5)?
I've read some on the destinator's www site, there is a new interface, new maps whit 3D very beautiful, and there is new SDK whit TMC support.
Anyone have any news? There is convenient to continue the work on the actual D3 SDK or we must think to buy the new SDK?
What do you think?
Bye
