    1. when you press the save button can it move to the next screen/file (have this as a user selectable maybe.
    2. Can the buttons be done by keystrokes (then we can use sendkeys from RR)
    3. Button size and place be user defineable.
    4. Side panel size and placement be changed
    as for these features

i can but in case somthing goes funky on you and it doesnt save (which it shouldnt) the page will reload and you will see a blank page
for example: you get some hotties number and jot it down and no doubt impress her with your skillz then you look for it and its gone had it reloaded and erased youd be like im sorry cani get tha tone more time

this can be done i know very easily thru the swf possibly a little harder through the exe
what non used keystrokes did you have in mind

    #3 and #4
that is doable but the external file colors.txt will get real confusing
unless i used arrays.... thinks... ill add that to the to do list but stability is my main concern right now plus if you have flash you can easily move the objects and i know chuck has been very good about helping people out ill be sending him the source as soon as i know its stable

Hmm, yes this would only work if we (by we I mean you) are 100% sure the saving works.

Not sure what you mean by unused, are you saying I can type on this screen as well? Otherwise just have the start letter of the button as the key to activate it. Then I can make buttons from RR control it.

can someone please comment on the new vs old exe or even the swf vs current exe

im trying to optimize this code and actually am putting of vehicle maintenence till this is handled if i make this right them vehicle maintenence (which is far more complex) will be that much better

thats pretty likely as i simplified the code to simply
    on button press
    recordplusButtondown()

and so on rather than the long winded statements i had before

this way it will be easier to change this later on (like you suggested)
