OK, that answer the question I didn't want to ask.

How do you get the weather from lat and long coords? cheers

    Fair enough... thanks.

working on it. weather is available by city/state too. This fit so seemlessly into MM. I looked into FreeDrive, but the "current address" return was really, just the address, not the current city. Iguidance will be the trickiest, cause you can only get lat/long.

    A few suggestions :

Maybe it's possible to integrate choices in your config to set :
    1) city/zipcode
    2) lon/lat
    or
    3) routeprogram of choice
to get the desired coordinates so that anyone (also people without GPS) can get the weather.

Maybe it could be a bit more skinnable.

Keep it going, this is something many people want but can't do themselves (just like me )

This question may be very stupid (as my English), but from where does this program get all the weather information? Is this program working only in America or could I use this program also in Europe?

I like it but I dont use mapmonkey. If you can make this more generic it would be very useful.
See the thread on GPS Gasoline, Lost has developed and application that gets location for raw GPS data (no specific nav program required).

Yeah... i noticed that. I love MM, but i guess not everyone does. The weather lookup is via US Zip code. MM has the ability to give me the current zip code. THat's why it doesn't work in other countries, or with other map programs. ANyone know of a plugin or API to convert lat/long to zip codes? i don't!
