Looks nice, I think I'll give this a look. Any chance of a satellite count / signal strength / position box?
Anyone find any bugs or anything?
Feedback? I'm getting bored.

When I get my new Main PC upgraded and I get some extra time, I'll see if I can add some of those features.

hello LESLIEx317537
thanx for this really cute piece of work. it fits exactly to what i need for my destinator6. i got one problem, don't no if it's a bug or my fault.
i made three bitmaps for the gauges. they are supposed to form a circle for a speedo with a transparent rim. but unfortunately the default grey rectangles still show in the tranparent areas of my bitmaps. the rectangles seem smaller than the default ones but visible "behind" my bitmaps.
what can i do ?
j.
Can you attach one of your bitmaps here. Thanks.
Remember, the code I wrote takes the top left color pixel and chooses that to be the transparent color.
I attached the bmp I used for the programs speed gauge.

yeah, i cared for that 0,0 pixel. i attach 2 sets of bmp files. the 7,8,9 are bigger in order to cover the rectangle, but it still shows. the rectangle centers in the vertical but anchors horizontally to the left. the pixel height is about 20 to 25. i tried to make a screenshot but it doesn't shoot it, only the background.
the bitmaps are kindo ugly, but just a first try, don't mind them.
thanx for your kind help.

okay now, i can't get this working. i tried it in my car and it told me my speed was like 500 something kmh, the altitude says that i live in tibet and the heading doesn't show nada. i'm using a normal nmea receiver so i don't know whats's wrong. sorry.
j.
The settings show the receiver strings it is spitting out.
What kind of GPS receiver do you have? Have you tried using xPort3 along with it? And do other GPS programs work fine?
I tried testing you bmp's too and they seemed to work, but I have no GPS Rx at home anymore to test the text over it. I will be getting one soon, so I will see what grey box you were talking about when I get it.

i also handled the bitmaps on my home pc without gps. the grey rectangles contain the white lines for the data, too, like your default gauges.
i could live without bitmaps, but what can i do to translate the raw data ? i tried it directly without xport. my mouse is a cheap navilock nmea thing they sell cheap at ebay. works fine with freedrive, mapmonkey, destinator, rr, showgps and all the things. nothing unusual so far.
