Zorro,
Sorry, I ment to say XP SP2.
:-)
im an xp sp2 beta tester (ms beta id #131889) and microsoft doesn't even give us a clue. it's close, close being a relative term. my guess, which is just a guess, is another month.
have it working on lgvx4500 thank you zorro
settings were as follows
1 uninstalled/unplugged evrything using com ports (driver issues)
2 turned on port rs-232c on lg
3 set port speed on both to 19200
4 connected last night havnt really played yet but it looks great.
also, which is the reason why i read this thread i think i can just use the headphone+mic jack on the phone to connect to the mike or line in on computer from there output to speakers.
Then use the mike up in the visor or something.
dialing happens through data caple
phone thinks its outputing to headphones but is to soundcard
mikerophone is as normal
ill try it all and see
thnx again
If using a bluetooth phone with phonecontrol, is there a way to stop the phone call audio from going through the car sound system, and using a BT headset and vice/versa.?
..for example if there is more than one person in the car and you need privacy for a particular phone call.
...in the middle of a call too?
thanks

perhaps you should speak to the guys that program fma, or even look at the source code, when my phone rings at home a little box appears on the screen with a pickup button. http://fma.sourceforge.net/ and on irc.chatspike.net in channel #fma. on an additional note, are the any plans of making this compatible with linux?

I'll take a look.
PhoCo has this kind of notification also but this requires a open session. I guess, it's the same with FMA.
No plans for Linux yet. Maybe some day when Mono is released![]()
