1. They use the SPP for their own protocoll which is bridged by mRouter. By using mRouter, you don't get access to the so called "AT-Commands" - these are the basis for PhoCo.Originally Posted by Motoko
2. As a workaround one can use the Dial-Up Network, which is also provided and allows the "AT-Command" access, but unfortunatelly this command set is incomplete.
So sad it is, it makes kinda sense, because you don't neccessarily need a Phonebook or SMS function on a Dial-Up, which is more or less a Modem (you maybe know, that standard modems don't have phonebooks or SMS).
So, they are not totally incompatible but it depends on the Firmware release how good or bad they are.
Phonebooks can be exported and converted, SMS ... well... another stroy
To answer this question too: mRouter give you a kind of access to the phone just like a TCP/IP connection... so you may write software that is able to communicate with the PC and react just like the missing AT-Commands, but replacing the full set of AT-Commands used would be a ****load of work![]()
I've alread tried with a user from the German forum to compensate the missing SMS notification, but we figured out, that S60 phones (or at least Nokia N-Gage and 3650) can't keep two concurrent connections (this is why the complete AT-Commandset needs to be adapted).
So, if anyone likes to do that... you're welcome... drop me a mail
Any further questions?

You can do that... you'll only will be missing receiving SMS. For the phonebook use PBConverter.Originally Posted by Motoko

Hello, now I just figured out that the problem was in drivers for bluetooth on my computer. I can make and redive call, and I am heared (the one who calls me can hear me) if I spek in microfone connected on my PC, but I can't hear anythig(except the beep when I dial a number), through speakers conected on my PC. What is wrong?
EDIT:I can't even speak in microphone. What they hear is me through phonemic. What to do?

Nothing. Handsfree profile is not supported by Nokia phones.

What about cable? If I connect it through cable I see headphones on phone, but PC say Time out. I was just wondering if it is bosible to configure somehow or it is a lot of work to do that?
Sorry and thank you.
