So there is absolutely no way to prevent it? Not by setting up bluetooth differently between the phone and the carputer? I thought i saw in some screenshot a prompt for 'answer call' or not...?

So (sorry to be so redundant) current users of phonecontrol, have their car answer phone calls automatically? Without any user intervention?

I tried to get my P900 to work with PhoCo right from the beginning and had no joy. When I tried my girlfriend's T610, it worked effortlessly - it's definitely the interface with Symbian OS.
Anyway, I just thought I would offer a couple of other software ideas for people:
1) Mobileways Remote p900 - here - this allows you to control EVERYTHING on the phone via bluetooth or syncstation from a PC, there is a slight time lag but it is definitely worth considering. Theoretically you could use the phone's camera as a reversing cam.
(PS. The same software is also available for S60 phones such as Nokia 6600, Nokia N-Gage & Siemens SX1)
2) If you can get PhoCo to work with basic functions then you could also look at Mobileways DesktopMessage - here - this allows sms message control from the PC and has auto popup functionality.
Anyway, don't want to take anything away from you Zorro, your software is immense, if only it was fully compatible with UIQ phones!
With bluetooth i made same conclusion with my p800, but with irda i was able to use PhoCo without sms and even sim card phonebook. try irda with ircomm if possible.

Sure, no problem with that. Since PhoCo isn't workin with Symbian, you're not taking anything awayOriginally Posted by timwiththebo
Thanks for your post... might be helpful for others.
BTW: I'm well aware of this software and I've tried to contact the developer(s) in order to ask for a cooperation between DesktopMessage and PhoCo...
Unfortunately, they never answered my mail... life's a *****![]()

And use modem, not the serial protocol..

Thanks for the tip, I'll give the connection a go using IRCOMM
@ Zorro
I've tried posting a link to your software on the esato website (hope this is ok) where there is an enormous px00 community - unfortunately there was little response. Maybe I'll try again sometime.
