    Motorolla V600 "blue tooth" issues

    Good day List.

Product looks very nice and i can not wait to get using it.

    Problem i have is:

I have installed my blue tooth card (Belkin FGT020 Ver 2.0)

My V600 can pair up with my pc (XP SVC pack 2) and all is well, however when i explore Bluetooth devices and click on the Motorolla V600, I see the services for: (DUN, IrMC Sync, OBEX File Trans, and OBEX PUSH) HOWEVER there is no option for Serial Port.....

Any Help is appreciated as I purchased this phone specifically to use with PhoneControl.....

    Thanks ron

also dont expect to be able to use your carpc as a handsfree and detect incoming calls... can only use one bluetooth thing at once... pretty brutal. i'm probably going to get rid of my v600 because of that.

That sucks, I was just about to buy a v600 but now I'm gonna have to find another phone.

Why then does it have (3 stars in compatible list)

Thanks for the feed back. I gusee i wasted my money on this phone then.

Does anyone have first had experience with BT phones that actually work with this product through BT and can actually detect my phone and handle handsfree calls in and out as well as text messaging?

    Thanks again

I believe the Sony Ericsson phones have had good success with phonecontrol, I didn't want to get one because I don't like how small they are but it looks like my only option for a cingular phone.

The V600 works perfect (and much better with version 1.2) even the caller identification works if you do the right settings... (look into the Motorola thread to get them)

Only the handsfree is still a problem...
