AFAIK it should come through the pc. Try to get the headset working without using PhoCo first.

been playing alittle more, I have two options for bluetooth on this machine. .also I'm using XP SP2 with a internal BT on my dell laptop D600.

When I go and view devices in range, whilst PhoneC is running the Dial up network gateway is connected, but if I try and click then on Hands-free voice gateway it gives me a error of 'the remote device closed the connection'

    any ideas ?

Some of the phones (amongst them some Moto's) don't allow 2 concurrent connections (for what reason so ever).

Try to make the headset connection from within your phone. Might work better.

BTW: Did you install Widcomm 3.x?

I guess this is a bug in the firmware coz BT is specified to hold more connections to the same device. Check for a firmware update soon...

@zorro: I didn't have time to read all the pages, so, take it easy on me - Do I gather that your SW would work with any BT phone or specific BT phones? thanks.

BTW: It is your job to read all the pages. This is why it's called public forum.

your page says your program supports the v7xx. where's the support for v710? where's the post that says anyone got the v710 to work via bluetooth? i've tried everything to get it to work. i've reflashed the firmware, gotten it to sync with mobile phone tools, everything is unlocked, it doesn't want to connect to phonecontrol on the com port i've selected (i've tried editing the xml file to all the other com ports too). i can't see any way that the v710 can connect, yet your site claims it can work. this is the last program i need to get to work to make the carpc complete. please help!!

Well, I took it of the page.

Now I'm telling you the same I told via PM: I can't help you, because I don't have this phone and I do not aim to buy it just because of you.
If none of the V710 users have replied to your post, then maybe because it's not working. In such a case: Don't use PhoneControl!

i've PhoCo to connect to phone, i can get it to dial manually, but 25 secs after it dials, it shuts off. i read your forums on your page about the motorola .xml file changes and applied them, but i can't get the phonebook to sync with the v710, and i can't call out with it manually. it seems like it wants to, it tells me 14.4k connection on the physical phone when i dial out, but i can't call longer than 25secs.

i can get mobile phone tools to sync the phonebook via bluetooth, but can't get phoneco to read it.
