    Hey Zorro,

Was this problem fixed in the new version.

I know you believe it is the phones fault, and it very well might be. However, when I connect to the phone with just the Widcomm software, not using PhoCo, it works "correctly". It announces the caller, but doesn't continue to announce the unknown caller if I ignore the phone call. Perhaps that will help you track down a solution.

    Thanx
    Michael

    Hey Zorro...

As requested. I have installed Widcomm4 with less success now. I am no longer able to dial the phone. My experience before was the same as described by the person in the previous posts.

I thank you in advance for your attention to the v710 phone. I understand it is frustrating for you to try and troubleshoot for a phone you don't have in your posession. It is pretty likely there will be a large number of these phones on the market especially with Motorola releasing a yet another BT phone based on this one (in the next couple of months).

    Looking forward to your thoughts.

    Kindest Regards...

This are two different techniques you're comparing. The one is the Handsfree profile that I cant' access yet, the other is the built-in modem.

I don't believe it's the phones fault, I know it's the phones fault

Yes Indeed... (you could clarify, but if it's what I think you mean) I have!

I have total control otherwise, Just seems that phoco doesn't like it. I'll understand if you don't want to invest the labour (since you don't have access to one), but I am willing to work with you to get it functional with the 710 as i'd like to use Phoco (great product).

    Thanks in advance

Quick update for all Moto users who can't dial out with PhoCo. Edit your Config file and set the Dial command in your Communication section to DT (instead of D). Might help.

I would like to know this also. I see it works with the V525, I think they use the same firmware/software, but not sure.

    Peace,
