actually after I changed the xml file from <Keypad quote="True" terminate="False">-MVTS</Keypad> to <Keypad quote="True" terminate="False">-MSVTS</Keypad>, it started kicking off the dial up session normally, dunno what impact that would have had, but thinking I found a small typo in the config. still playing to make the audio connect as well...

EDIT: I also had to set it to GSM... actually I think the GSM instead of 8859-1 seemed to do the trick not the MSVTS line....

also when I click the accept button, it does nothing, I have to click it twice, then it diverts the call straight to voicemail.

I have one folder under autoconnect in the registry that reads 0004, do I need to add an entry for the voice deal?

I'm begining to think that my device can only use one BTconnection at a time, being that if I'm connected via dial up networking, I can't connect via the voice gateway, obex file transfer or anything else.. oh well, maybe there will be a firmware upgrade or something...

That's what I'm suspected either... Is it possible for you to contact Motorola Support and to figure this out?

If the "0004" is your Dial-Up, it's pretty ok.

What Widcomm BT-Stack version do you have?

1.4.2 Build 10, I don't know exactly which one it is on my machine at home, but it came with a logitech bluetooth mouse so I'm guessing fairly up to date... but they both behave the same.

I'll try Motorola, but I doubt I'll get much other then "well if the headset works, whats the problem?" but I'll hit some motorola forums and see if there is a solution.

Hey guys, I actually just picked up a v525 today that's flashed with the v600 software (hey, a v600 for $200 less :P). What are your software versions? these are mine:

    Flex: SE6446AXXF10F8
    S/W: TRIPLETS_G_08.09.38R
    DSP S/W: 62D5C500

Just wondering if we're running the same software. As soon as I get my hands on a bluetooth dongle I'll let you know how my trials turn out.

    Flex is
    GI9V00000AA0E9
    DSP is the same...

I actually had the flash version you had... but I noticed an extreme drain on the battery which went away when I flashed back to 35R. Have you had battery issues?

lopan, you're way further than I am. I can't even get my phone to pair or anything. What version of the widcomm drivers are you using? Could you give me a quick step by step on what you did so far plz?

    Thanks,
    Chris

P.S. I talked to my buddy who's a wireless developper, he said if the V600 works then the v525 with the v600 software upgrade should definitely work because they are identical hardware wise (with the exception of the flashy lights and metal case).
