I am still going to keep working at this, but just curious what phone works the best from ATTWS? The only two affordable bluetooth phones on there site are the:

    Nokia 6820
    Sony Ericsson T637

I did read in the forum that the best support was for the Sony Ericsson's TX series.. Mainly people saying T616 worked perfect.. Should this be the same for the T637?

I just installed the latest firmware.. G_05.08.90R... Still same results... I might try to go swap my phone is ATT has one that is compatible with this software, like the T637, unless you have some ideas?

I think, they have to... they invented it. But I'm sure, if you tell somebody, "Your product is crap" ... they will listen

    No more ideas...

I didn't heard about the T637 yet, but I know that the T630 (which it the European version) works as good as the T610...

No experience with the 6820 at all.

    Motorola V66 on T-mobile USA

OK, I just got a Motorola V66 from T-mobile. It's not bluetooth, but has a USB connection as an accessory. Before I run out to the store, I want to know if this program can work with this phone? If not, I'll just buy the in car kit, but I'd rather use this.

    Thanks.

Question Info for Motorola V525 European

First of All, hi zorro and thanks for your work

Now i have a little problem.
I have tried to search an answer in documentation, faq, old 3d but nothing

Well, i have Motorola V525 European Model.
I have configured my usb bluetooth adaptor and in fact Motorola's Mobile Phonetools works great.
Now, if i start PhoneControl it says to me that occur an timeout connecting to the phone via COM port and "suggest" me to chek if the modem or port is alredy in use... well it isn't in use becouse Macromedia PhoneTool isn't running. I Have tried to connect via Hyper Terminal but this cause the program and windows itself to crash....

is it a common problem of v525 or could be a problem of my usb bluetooth dongle? Fot bluetooth i use this Software :XTNDConnect Blue Manager

Thanks for your time and i apologize for my bad english =)

I have good and bad news for you:
The good news: It's not a V525 Problem
The bad news: I don't know how to help you...

I suppose, it could be a XTNDConnect problem. If your driver software has installed a virtual COM port, you ought be able to use it without any resrictions - and chrashing Windows is a restriction
The only thing I would recommend to you is to check whether there is a new version available for XTND connect. If there is one and you're still unsuccessful, you should try to switch to Widcomm... so far, the Widcomm stack has no problem with the V525.

The other known thing about Motorola phones is that they doesn't provide a SPP (Serial Port Profile) therefore you have to use the Modem or DialUp Gateway.
