i have the v710 working with mobile phone tools. says it's on serial port 7, but i still can't get it to work. if it helps, it has dial up networking gateway, and it has handsfree voice gateway in the My Bluetooth folder for the motorola phone. don't know how to get it to sync with phonetools though. whammo

Any idea if Nextel phones are supported. Mainly I730. Has anyone tried this yet?

in general verizon doesn't lock their phone. i know that their lg phones have a service code of 000000, with that and the esn it wouldn't suprise me if you could take a verizon phone to anywhere that suported cdma.

    V600 status?

Ok, Ive read the PC forums and I am getting mixed things about the motorola v600.

What is the status of the compatibility of the v600?

My g/f is about to buy me one but I wanna make sure that it works with Phone Control first.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting one this week but I'm still confused as to whether it works.

I would also like to know if there anyone out there that has gotten the Motorola V600 to work.

    i have a v600 from tmobile

so far it brings up the phone list, it lets you dial calls from the touchscreen, it brings up whos calling, missed calls and others

the only downside is that it will only bring up the primary number to a person. Phonecontrol will not recognize a secondary number.

Also, i have not been able to get the battery meter to work, the button that refreshes the phone list works but doesnt look right ( it has the two arrows, but zbutton is written accross it real big), also the the two buttons on the bottom right and left oont work. Im pretty sure all of these except the secondary numbers problem is related to the skin not properly installed (brushed metal skin), but not 100% sure
