Just download the IBM Integrated Bluetooth II Software (Widcomm build 1.4.3.4) and some patched files from here:Originally Posted by zorro

Then follow the exact procedure explained here:
http://www.jonsguides.com/bt/en/driver.html
When you pair the phone and the pc, remember to initiate the pairing from the PHONE. That makes the phone "server", and the pc becomes the "client".
When you have done that you'll find a new menu item in the menu CONNECT-BLUETOOTH-OPTIONS. The new item is HEADSET SOUND. Choose IN HEADSET from the new HEADSET SOUND menu item.
....and you'll have to change a few settings in the PhoneControl's ini file. Ask Zorro about that. He's the expert ;-)

Which dongle do you use? Does it matter? I was thinking about a Belkin... Also do you have to initiate the connection with your phone everytime you get in your car or does it just pick it up?

The IBM software is for IBM laptops, but the hacked files and installation procedure mentioned before makes it usable for virtually every dongle.Originally Posted by veetid
I have a Dlink DBT-120.
You'll just have to pair it once, then the only thing you'll have to do is activate bluetooth on the phone.

I thought most all drivers where the Widcomm drivers? So when you tried to use the drivers that came with your DLink they didn't work?
thanks for the infoI will soon be a PhoneControl.NEt user and I can't wait..
