Read krystar's post! In volume control, there's playback volume/mute and record volume/mute. These are completely seperate parts of the hardware. Playback is what you hear, and record is what all the software hears.

That probably won't work. Most PC mics are different than tape recorder or P.A. type mics. I'm not sure what the difference is though. Impedance or voltage?

hmmm.... I'll take a look at that... I believe I tried it, but it didnt work. But, I'll try it tonight.

I did a search here and could not dig anything up about a 800x480 skin for phone control. I tried changing the window setting in the Config XML file from 800x600 to 800x480 but, the program would not work after the change - so I assume the problem is with the skin...

I know you can create one with the included Designer but, I was wondering if anyone would like to share their creation and save my lazy butt the hassle of trying to create a half-decent looking skin.

I completely agree. If there is someone who wants to publish a skin (desing): You're welcome.

The easiest way to get a different resolution on a skin is:
1. Open the Designer and load a skin.
2. Open the Options dialog (menu "View->Options").
3. Set property "Scale size" to the desired size.
4. Click the rightmost icon in the toolbar (Scale window).
5. Use "Save as" to store the new skin on disc.

This will scale the window and all controls for you.

Don't forget to set the new size in the PhoneCtl.Config.xml as well.
