    The way I understood this:

    You have to have a rather recent version of the widcomm-drivers in order to support headset-profile on your PC. I did not see the headset-profile on the version 1.22 but when I went to 1.4 the headset profile appeared in the list of bluetoth services on my pc.
    But, your phone also needs to support headset-profile to be able to use the headset-service on your PC. Sony/Ericson-phones seems to be the best choice in order to get this to work.

    Please correct me if I am wrong in how this works as I am looking to replace my Nokia with a phone that supports the headset-profile...

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
    application or machine (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
    rather than being handled by this dialog.

    This means you don't have a phonebook and you tried something. Use PBConverter or Outlook (with the 1.2 release) and you'll have one.

    Thanks for the link... but the issues on CDMA phones have been discussed 1000 times before.
    These phones simply suck. Most of them don't support AT-Commands. They rather support a kind of propriatry protocol which is different from vendor to vendor. The only senseful thing you can do with it, is reading the phonebook. Some of the phones even won't let you identifying the caller.

    So, If you like to know whether your phone will work with PhoCo, read chapter 10 in the manual and look into the CDMA phones thread.

    There isn't much I can do about

    Mute level

    Hey,

    Got PC working perfectly with frodo (AWESOME! THANKS!) except for one thing....when I make calls, the volume mutes, but it only mutes to 20%. Any way to change this to a different level?

    Thanks,
    Dan

    If you edit your PhoneCtl.Config.xml in notepad, you will find that the default <MainVolumeOnCall restoreVolume="True">20%</MainVolumeOnCall> is 20%. Just change this to whatever you need.

    Post XP SP2 broke my PhoCo install !!!

    Besides to playing MP3's in my car is PhoneControl the ultimate solution for safe and easy dialing from my car. Zorro, great job!

    I 'm running XP pro, .NET 1.1 (patched) and SAPI (included in XP) and DirectX9.0c. I got PhoCo 1.2 working with a Nokia 6600 using the Fax profile, made a separate phonebook file with PBconvert, could SMS, got the CallerID on screen, etc.

    Then I made a mistake. I installed XP SP2. The new security features lured me into it. Now, when starting PhoCo I get the following error "Application has generated an exception that could not be handled, process id=etc..." and nothing happens.

    I checked all relevant posts (I think) and found only references to .NET issues. I removed and reinstalled .NET but with no luck. I found references to DirectX issues. I removed it and downgraded to DirectX8.1, but no luck. I removed and reinstalled the SAPI but you can guess, no luck. The error message stays the same.

    Am I the only one with a SP2 related crash? Am I missing something? Please help!
