PhoneCo works great on my computer. But it seems not familiar with Dual Byte Character Set... I have to remove my phonebook or edit PhoneCtl.Config.xml to prevent PhoneCo hanging.
It would be very, very nice if you fix it for us. thanks, Zorro.
the error message is: ( please forgive me not able to translate those strange characters... )

Skinning to go... VisualDesigner2!
I've sent my phonebook in csv format through PhoneControl.NET...
thanks.
VirtualKeyb has to be started and visible before you can use it. Otherwise, PhoCo will start it but it'll stay invisible (in the taskbar).Originally Posted by sniz55

Hmm.. I've got an ackward problem and don't seem to be able to fix it.
Setup: MSI BToes + Nokia 6310i
I've installed Phonecontrol.net on my portable before my carputer was in and it worked like a charm.
I installed my carputer recently and now I can't get phonecontrol to read my phone memory anymore, it works great when I do it from Sim but not from the phonememory, it gives me an error saying that an array is out of range ( Will get you the log later @ home )
Now what I think is that somewhere in the time when I installed it on my portable and afterwards on my Carputer, I entered a name, E-mail or number that was bigger then a certain array in Phonecontrol.net. Could it be there is a restriction in size on the name/phonenumber/adres/mail field ?
Another think could be my portable has 'something' installed that my Laptop hasn't got but honestly I wouldn't know what. Anyway, do you happen to have an idea or can you only see this in the logfile ( Btw: it's an actual .NET error, not a phonecontrol.net error I get)

Noctris

I decided to post this here because you guys seem to be the authorities on bluetooth compatibility. Anyway, I am selecting a usb dongle, preferrably as small as possible for my laptop. Does anyone know what BT usb dongles support the A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile)? I am looking for a device with this compatibility for when stereo bluetooth headphones hit the market.
Thanks,
moltensilver
I don't even know what that is.

i dont know either, but generally its the drivers that support this stuff and not the bluetooth dongle itself. most bluetooth dongles come with widcomm drivers so you're pretty limited. check widcomm's webpage (or is it widcom with one m?) and see if it's supported.
Hence A2DP is a new Profile specification you have to look out for adapters with a BT 1.2 compatibility of the driver software.Originally Posted by moltensilver
First headsets were released recently to the market from Air2U
(http://www.air2u.com.tw/) and Sonorix (http://www.sonorix.com)
Sonorix delivers the Headset bundled with a BT-Adapter so this might be the first and only one yet.
<explantation>
A2DP is an extension for stereo (HiFi) headsets for the transmission of WMA / MP3 music.

But PhoCo doesn't automatically created a PhoneCtl.PB.xml compatable with Dual Byte Character Set... which means I'll have to modified that .mxl file, 'Cause these characters become "???" in PhoneCtl.PB.xml when PhoCo trys to read my phonebook in T610 ...Would you please add this function in the future version? Thanks.
