I don't have a Treo so I can't tell you but you have the option to try it yourself.
PhoCo bases on the GSM specification and therefore each phone that applies to it is supposed to be working![]()
I'm still far away from completing my car pcs. The computer is 100% built and the fabrication is about 80%. I'm actually building two car pcs for my wife and for me, but since she has a Silverado and I have an Avalanche, one will basically be a mirror of the other.
Importantly, we both have Treo 650's and will be interested in getting them intergrated with the pc.
Palm just sent out another update that unlocked Bluetooth Dial-up Networking (BDN) along with some other upgrades. Will this have an impact on Phone Control?
Thanks.

I can tell you that I've tried it with the new firmware and it had zero effect for me. It will connect but nothing worked and it didn't display battery levels or antenna levels.Originally Posted by jwhitley
Any of you guys figure out how to make a virtual serial port over the usb sync cable? There are a few programs out there which enable dial up networking over the usb cable, but they are $35 and I'm not ready to spend that just to try it out.
