    Comments:

    Zorro,

Shrug off the bad stuff and focus on all the good stuff. I personally understand that one bad comment can set you off especially when you've done a lot of work for free for the same poeple that are giving you the bad comments. I almost don't blame you for pulling the plug.

Most likely these comments are from poeple that can't program or do much for themselfs in this field and are just taking out thier own frustrations on you, I or us.

The one sole reason that is keeping me from releasing some of my software is the critism from others. I just couldn't take a harsh remark on something that I have put so much effort into designing I think the theme here is that poeple just don't understand what goes into developing "free" applications for anyone who wants to download and try them out.

I really give it up to guys like Guino, Frodo and Zorro who have the balls to give thier work out for free. These guys are doing stuff that is typically done by a team of a few programmers and are PAID for thier work.

I think for me the simplist thing is to write custom aps that only I use because I just don't have the patients to deal with some shmuck who can come in and bash it after using it for 3 minutes. I also know that I'm not the only programmer who feels this way and that our community is truely missing out...

Zorro... I am so glad to hear that you are continuing your development and support of PhoCo. Even though you are not going to continue support for CDMA phones, your efforts while you were trying to support them were very much appreciated indeed. It shows great character that you chose to move past this incident. Clearly, you have triumphed in the face of this and have the support and admiration of this community. I will continue to follow your progress, hoping that one day I too will be able to enjoy your offering.

    Kindest Regards!

    Appreciate the help!

i won't be home for a few days, but I'll send it to you on Sunday or Monday.

Also, quick quesiton. You mentioned earlier that ppc phones are not supported because they don't have modems, but I know that the Siemens SX66 and the imate Jam have Wmodems and have four modes of operation for connecting via bt to a pc. So do you think there's a chance that if I upgrade, I could get one to work with phoco? Just wanted to check one more time thanks!

I can't say whether or not this is a full equiped (software)modem.

I know that Moto has a modem driver for the MPX220 for example but it has just rudimental functions. Basically all you can do, is to dial a number to establish a connection. No phonebooks, no incoming call notifications or other stuff.

If the SX66 would have a "full equiped" driver to emulate a modem, this also could be a general solution for PPC's

Zorro, please stop charging for phonecontrol, send me your house scripture, transfer all your money to my bank-account and send me all your clother and other personal belongings.

    Thanks,
    Roy

just kidding mate... Glad you are back... I know how some comments can really get you off, but dont let it get to you... I'm all for giving support to the people who purchased! Maybe you can make a section on your website where people can submit a config xml for each phone. That will help noobs with the changes from phone to phone... And I think it might cut down on questions... Like you used to have in the compatiblity the changes required to config, remember? but just now allow them to say what model they have, see the support that phoco has for that model and download a working config...

Yep thats it! I'd just put a link under the Download for phoco so all noobs are sure to see that!

Also, is there a special one for the V3? I havent gotten my new SIM so I'm GSM-less for these days, but I should get it in about a week... anyways, is the config the same as the v6xx?
