    Future of PhoneControl.NET

    Hi Guys,

some of you have already discovered that the website and ShareIt are back online. This is because I feel to be in charge for those users who purchased a license for PhoCo.

This little "incident" with Hunka27 caused me to think over the whole situation.

PhoCo is now 1 year on this forum (my first post here was on 03-27-2004) and I've got many "suggestions" like this one. I don't really care about such idiots, because there are much more people who has been and still are very supportive to this project.

As I said, I was thinking a lot whether I'm gonna continue this project or not. Because of your posts and personal mails, I was convinced to continue but I'll change the modality.
I'm not going to answer each post here anymore, as I did in the past. Most of the post are repeating and a good search will give you the right answer. Instead, I will focus more on my own forum, which became a closed forum now. This means, only licensees will have full access, all others will only have the right to read posts. A login to the forum you'll get from me if you request it.

The support of CDMA phones has been completely dropped now! If you want to use PhoCo, you have to use a GSM phone. You still have a 30 days trial period which you should use to figure if PhoCo suites you. If not, let it be.

    That's all for now.

Finally, I want to thank you all for your support and your patience.

    Z.

Thanks for clarifying Zorro, I'm glad you have decided to continue developing Phoco, even if in a closed environment, I am in the process of testing Phoco on my desktop, once tested I shall be purchasing a copy to use in the car.

I for one am glad such a brilliant product will continue :-)

    Nice to have you back!
Sometimes it's really good to sit back and think things over.
I do not know of any substitute for your program yet.
Wonder how many of us have a look at your compability chart before we invest in new phones..?
Maybe someone out there, with good connections at Ericsson, Nokia or Siemens could find out if PhoCo validate for some sort of a development fee.
You certainly play in that league..
