Well, that's what I'm working on but please don't ask me for an ETA.
Since my time for PhoCo is very, very limited yet, this could take a couple of month.

All I know by now is: You'll need Windows Mobile 2003 SE (or newer) and you'll have to have a ActiveSync connection between your CarPC and your phone (either Bluetooth or cable).
There will be a service running on the mobile which will communicate with PhoCo.

What I don't know by now is which features will be supported and which not.

I also have an MPx220 and would love to get this program working with it.

That said, when I try to launch PhoneCtl.NET.exe on my laptop, I receive the following error message immediately after the "Voice initialized" message on the popup banner (indicating program loading):

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0xe20 (3613), Thread id=0xe64 (3684)

If I click OK or cancel (the only two options), the window closes and Phonecontrol doesn't load. Any idea?

I'm just posting here to show there is a need for smartphone integration with PhCo. Zorro, you so got my 30 bucks when this works...

I'm still hoping there is a solution, too. I do enjoy so many of the features of the mpx220, just want it to work with PhoneCo.

I don't understand - according to the phoneco compatibility matrix, this phone is listed as working - much better than most. Is this not accurate?

Well from the sounds of his site it looks like he recently released a version that is supposed to support Windows Mobile devices. I just downloaded it and still couldn't get it to work. It doesn't look like his manual has been updated so there is no specific directions on how to get the Windows Mobile devices to work.

I have a MPX220 as well. My device when I pair it does not show a "bluetooth serial port" which is what I think PhoneCo needs..

Two days ago the beta test for Windows Mobile Smartphones has started.
The release is estimated for week 40/41.

With the new driver, you'll be able to control almost all functions, just as on other (non-Windows) phones.

If you own such a phone, please standy by.

Update: Beta test has discovered that only PPC PhoneEdition devices will be supported. WindowsMobile Smartphone doesn't work because of the need of signing applications running on such devices!

Being that the MPX220 runs WindowsMobile Smartphone it doens't look like it will work.

Zorro, thanks for the reply. Please tell me if I'm trying to do all this for nothing...

Windows only has "Dial-up Networking on MPX220" and "Voice Gateway on MPX220" as the available BT services. I downloaded that program and did the unlock. How are we supposed to get this to work? The manual says to do a quick connect to the bluetooth serial port but there isn't one available?
