I'm pretty curious also as I have a Nokia 6630 (S60-based phone). I wouldn't think it would be a matter of the type of phone, there is an application for OSX that i use on my powerbook that essentially will announce who is calling and just pulls the data from the phone via bluetooth (no downloding of the contact book necessary). I've used it for 3 different phones, all 3 are different OS' (motorola e398, se z600, and now the nokia 6630)

PhoCo and Symbian (Series 60) dont work well together. You will only be able to connect to the phone....(via dialup newtorking not serial) and just be able to make and receive calls. Thats it. PhoCo and similar software, works better with non OS phones!

Well since you cant download your contacts via Phoco, you wont be able to see who is calling you. I didnt manage to do it, however someone may prove me wrong...I hope!

    Might help: http://zhorvat.dyndns.org/PCForums/S...aspx?PostID=78

The only thing you won't be able to do is the KeyMap stuff and incoming SMS notification.

You have to care for that your phone is supporting mRouter (SCOM interface) because some of the newer Nokia phones don't do that anymore.
Also, I've heard about some S60 OS phones not working (no connection on DUN port) because of outdated firmware.
    Skinning to go... VisualDesigner2!
