v600/motorola pc as headset

Hi Guys,

for those of you that got your motorola v600 or v3 working with headset and phoco, can you please tell me if there is anything special you have done to have phoco drop the serial connection, and then reconnect when the call is over?

I can get phoco to work without using the audio gateway, and I can get the audio gateway working without phoco...

but if I start using phoco then the audio doesnt come through the BT (and if I try the USE BLUETOOTH option on the phone menu during a call I get "Bluetooht Link Busy")... if I start the audio gateway prior to starting phoco, then phoco gets no information from the phone...

So what is the magic way?

Im not sure....havent tried but i'd suggest trying one of those virtual comport solutions which allow you to duplicate a copy of the existing comport so multiple things can communicate with your device at once. Once again, I havent had time to play with this.

AFAIK this is a limitaton of the V600. You have to choose one service, you can't use them both at once.

Hey Zorro, but I have heard several people mentioning a handoff from phoco to the headsetr service, and then remaking the connection after?

old phone control files? (posts #12 and #13)...

or did I just misjudge the possibility?

Problem on Moto phones is that you possibly an patch everything... so I think it's more or less a question of haviong the "right" firmware version.

So Z, assuming I have the right firmware, what would be the special settings in phoco to allow this handoff?

(That way I can make the setup rght and then try different firmwares)

i also have a v600, and would love for this to work

but im using DUN through the phone as well... and i think i may be sol if i want 3 services to hand off to each other

Assuming you have the right firmware, you wouldn't have to ask

I'm sorry Roy, I can't tell you. I never had a V600 for testing myself.
