Hi there
If your device is not listed in the btwusb.inf your OS will never find the driver.
You can try to change the line, so it is matching your device.
Than you have to manually select the btwusb.inf as the driver for your device.

Hey Chaos, I think I got the WIDCOMM working now. Although there seems a little problem (Devices not showing up in My Bluetooth Places).

I ended up checking out the official driver from Belkin and then copied a few lines over to get it working.

I have actually the same bug (not sure if it is one)
I cannot explore the BTneighbourhood. But i dont mind, cause i use this stupid wizzard and the connection works afterwards.
You have to thank Lum, cause i only host the files.

I have the same issue, no btneighborhood. and the connections don't work after using the wizard. grrr...

I've got Bluetooth by HP on my laptop and a Zonet USB BT dongle on my carputer, both with working versions of Widcomm 4.01.700.

I don't see any kind of 'readme first' file. Am I missing something about how to update the license? Do I need to uninstall previous widcomm s/w?

patched files need to be in the SVCPACK subdirectory prior to running setup.

I'm going to revert to the original WidComm posted by Chili Pepper, I just can't get this going. The .2100 version doesn't recognize my DBT-120, and the .1500 version doesn't work properly for me.

I would like to know what colorwolf did to get his going, though.

Thanks for the quick reply, (presuming) your reply was to my post.

The SVCPACK subdir does contain the .2100 files. I downloaded the UPDATE3 installer prepatched and I'm getting the licensing error.
