the audio gateway works great on my e815. The ONLY thing that doesnt work that i want is SMS. It will type the sms to the phone but for some reason it just sits in the phone til you either resend manually or restart the phone. Being that when i first got this phone nothing worked cept phonebook and dial out i'm positive the sms issue will be resolved. BTW, EVERYONE who uses an e815 should go get your phone updated. New features and bug fixes rawk
That's great you were able to get everything working including the audio gateway. Can you send some pointers my way on what I may be doing wrong? It seems that when I have the audio gateway service enabled in the BT software and headset control enabled on Phoco, dialing and everything stops working or may work once and then crap out. As soon as I disable the headset control in Phoco, the phone will dial etc, but I have to have the phone in speaker phone mode or have a wired headset plugged in.....
I was able to view/read SMS messages from my phone in phoco, but haven't tried sending yet....
assuming your using 1.6beta, use these settings in your .ini
<Communication id="Motorola V710">
<PhoneBookLocation id="1" timeout="90" name="Phone Book" static="True" startup="True" shortcut="True">AD</PhoneBookLocation>
<PhoneBookLocation id="3" timeout="30" name="Received Calls" static="False" shortcut="True" sorted="True">RC</PhoneBookLocation>
<PhoneBookLocation id="4" timeout="30" name="Dialed Calls" static="False" shortcut="True" sorted="True">DC</PhoneBookLocation>
<Keypad quote="True" terminate="False">-MVTS</Keypad>
<SMSTextmode toda="True" name="0" date="0" time="0">True</SMSTextmode>
<ReadAllSMS command="+MMGL" category="REC READ">True</ReadAllSMS>
<UseBTManager device="Motorola Phone" controlHeadset="True" mode="OnCall" disconnectAfterCall="True">True</UseBTManager>
change your port of course. And yes at this point the only way to dial out is with the phone open, with a headset in, or in speakerphone mode. But that config should get you as far as i am. when you hang up a call you have to force phoco to disconnect/reconnect to the phone. Do this by clicking the signal box that should be blinking.
Has anyone setup their e815 to work with a mic and your car's speakers? I would like to see what people have done with this mainly because I have a headset that lets you use the voice recognition for dialing and want to know if that would be available to use with a mic and speakers as well...
