i dont have a K700i (t610) but it worked the same for my older sony phone (t68i)

This is driver thing on the windows side, the K700i should support audio gateway.
So in windows first make sure you are using Widcomm drivers and not native support in xpsp2 which dosent support much of bluethooth profiles.

Also, it may matter from which side you pair your phone with the PC, try initiateing the pair from the phone and not from the pc to phone.

You should see In my bluetooh Places>Entire Bluetooh Neighborhood>your phone> Voice gateway

also if you right click the bluetooh icon in the tray>quick connect> audio gateway

once you connect to the audio gateway it should work when you recieve a phone call or make one

let me know if you have any questions, i plan on getting the K750i whenever sony deciceds to release it in the states (bastards) and i hope they havent started to screw up there bluetooh in there newer phones

config file for PhoCo? no
phoco does not have any audio gateway features, this is a driver only feature that has to be supported on both devices connected to each other.
You dont do anything in Phoco to get this to work, you dont even need phoco installed to get this to work

so no one is able to get the audio and mic to work with out having to press accept when wincomm popps up the box every time a connection is made and had to press a button when the phone asks if the call is to be taken in the phone or not??
there isnt a way to make it all automaticly happen without magic?

Unhappy A List of "what doesn't work" to solve this problem

I've just started attempting to make this work with my new Sony Ericsson K750i. I'm running into the same probelm a lot of people have encountered, and I've narrowed it down to something that does involve the way PhoCo works (i.e. not purely WidComm I think):

I can dial from the phone's keypad, and then my PC serves as my headset automatically (desired behavior).

If I dial via PhoCo, the audio comes from the phone itself and I must use its menus to transfer the call to the PC's audio (undesirable).

I can use afterDial="+CKPD=stuff" in my Dial command to get the menu navigation for audio transfer, however, the right menu to perform a transfer only appears after the call has gone through... with varying ring times, I cannot time this reliably (I used "udududududud" to change my volume a lot before hitting the needed Enter and Down sequence... this worked, but not well)

I tried afterDial="+CKPD=200" (handsfree button press code), but as someone else mentioned, this doesn't transmit over a serial line or something... there was no result.

I tried the *EALR AT command instead, with no effect either...

So, does anyone know what PhoCo is doing differently from dialing via keypad that could be changed to make the audio go to the PC? Please don't say "dialing via serial line is the reason." :-) I feel soooo close to having this work right!

Oh, and for anyone with a K750i that wants to also feel "almost there," here's my Dial line I mentioned:

<Dial quote="False" terminate="True" afterDial="+CKPD="ududududududududud[v[v["">D</Dial>
