I've just signed up. I was gutted when I found out Phoco wasn't compatible with ActiveSync phones, so I'm really happy you're working on this !
I have a Motorola MPx220 Smartphone.
Hi Guys,
I'need some beta testing for Windows Mobile Smartphones.
Here's what you need to have:
- A Windows Mobile Smartphone or PocketPC Phone Edition with builtin Bluetooth
- Bluetooth installed and running on your PC
- PhoCo 1.4.6 installed and running (basically)
- Knowledge how to configure your phone
- An working ActiveSync connection to your phone
- Skills to use HyperTerminal
If you meet all the needs above, go to my Forum (http://zoran-horvat.de/PCForums/), register (if you didn't already) then drop me a mail.
After that you'll have access to the Beta testing thread, where you'll find further instructions.
As beta tester I expect you to send me detailed information about your environment (configuration, logfiles and stuff). Please keep that in mind before you sign up.

PS http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.php may be of some use to you as well
PPS Zorro - do you most of the mobiles that come from HTC ( see the forum above for what I mean ) have a USB mini port ? Might be worth testing that as well - at least for control only.
You picked a nice oneNot sure if it'll work with WM5 but we'll see.
Unfortunately the Mini USB doesn't have a Serial Port (but some other phones that have a connector with more pins do have one).

I'm in too. This is great news.
Am I correct in thinking that when PhoCO works with one Smartphone it will work with them all?
Hopefully yes.Originally Posted by mindracing

OK. All ready to Beta Test, just waiting for my licence key.
You don't need a license key for testing.
