    Are WIDCOMM drivers essential

I am having all sorts of trouble getting the WIDCOMM drivers to work with my blutooth. It detects the phone but just wont connect, whereas the manufacturer drivers connect fine but cant get sound through the spakers.
Are the WIDCOMM drivers essential for phonecontrol?

    Well,
I have a T630 and a Belkin F8T009 BT adaptor, and have had no joy getting audio through PC on phonecontrol with the Belkin drivers, but could at least dial out and get some sort of interaction with the phone. But WIDCOMM drivers barely work, it detects my phone and services, but just can't connect, and does not work at all with phonecontrol as the COM ports are always above 16 with the WIDCOMM drivers.
So I wonder, is it possible to get phonecontrol 100% working with Belkin drivers?

    Well,
The manufacturers drivers that came with my BT adaptor are WIDCOMM anyway, so doesn't matter.
