    Exclamation Is this the end of Widcomm woes

    I've never been succesful with PhoCo but thats because Widcomm is crap. It won't hold more than one connection to my K700i and is generally unreliable and makes the system run slow

    Could some of our coders have a look at this...

    AFAICS this could make Widcomm redundant.

    @Zorro,

    Is there any way to make PhoCo work with my k700i using a SE Datacable?

    The SDK you're mentioning is meant for Car manufacturers who will adapt this software into their proprietary hardware. I've contacted this company and the SDK pricing made me dizzy (in other words, the Broadcom SDK is very, very cheap).

    Yap, all SE phones will work with datacable.

    Im very impressed with your software zorro, its just a huge shame that the current BT software & drivers that it relies on are complete crap

    phonebooks work fine, it will dial most of the time, but even with audio gateway enabled I get no audio through PC, phone thinks its connected to a headset too. Doesn't seem to matter on order of pairing, although phone won't pair with PC. I wanted to upgrade the firmware thats why I bought a cable, now I found out that you have to pay for firmware, I might as well have just gone to Carphone Warehouse and had it done there...
