    Echo w/o Mic - Why?

Okay, from what I've read everybody has the echo issue... But everyone says its from the sound coming from the speakers being routed into the mic which is why callers hear themselves talk.

However, I have the same issue (callers still hear themselves) even when my mic isnt plugged in. So this makes no sense? Obvisously something is set wrong in PhoneControl...

Anybody know how to fix this issue? thanks!

I solved my problem. My recording selection wasnt set to Microphone, it was set to something else (either Wave or Stereo Mix). After setting the Recording selection to Mic, all is well
