I'm sure this issue has been raised but when I search I get so many results that appear to be obsolete (due to improvements in Phoco).

Phoco works just fine (as long as the phone is attached). Note I am using a phone with usb cable connect (no bluetooth).

But when I start Phoco with no phone connected, or with the phone already dialed into the internet Phoco fails to start (as you would expect). And I get an error message "Opening the Communications Port Failed"

Is there anyway to avoid this. Ie. dont try to start Phoco if there is no phone. This is not a big deal when starting Phoco standalone, but I have it start automatically when Roadrunner starts and the error message appears behind the RR window.

Thanks...Paul
