I'm thinknig about writing something that would do it, but I'll probably just pick up a 8703 which has the bluetooth 2.0 as opposed to the 1.1.
i just got a blackberry 7250 as well. is there any chance of it ever working with phoco? bluetooth or usb? what is the hold-up? any info is appreciated, i've searched and found tidbits of info here and there but nothing really substantial.

what would it take to write something? i have some programming skills... just not sure where i should start.
All Blackberry firmware and applications is written in java. If you can write that, you can make anything you want.

i can write java code, the question i have is that i am not really writing a "blackberry app" am i? i'd be writing an app that runs on the pc that connects to the blackberry? or would it be an app that responds to PhoCo's queries? are you interested in helping with this at all? i know i've seen plenty of interested folks on these forums, the phoco forums, and a few on the bb forums.
I'm interested in something but I'm changing between jobs (going to one where I'll be paid to write java). Maybe I'll look into it later, who knows.
But you can write anything you want. Have it run on the Blackberry or on your computer, doesn't matter. Java is multiplatform.
